3. Conversion Results — No Guarantee
3.1 Best-effort, not perfect
PubRescue converts .pub files using automated software. While we aim to preserve text and images where possible and to surface useful quality warnings (such as missing fonts or layout issues), we do not guarantee:
- That any file will convert successfully
- That layout, spacing, colors, fonts, or images will match the original
- That converted PDF or Word files will be suitable for professional printing, legal filing, or archival use without your review
- That quality-check reports identify every possible issue in your document
Conversion quality depends on the source file, embedded assets, fonts, Publisher version features, and technical limitations of conversion engines.
3.2 Partial success and warnings
Some conversions may complete with warnings ("completed with warnings") or partial success. You must review outputs before use.
3.3 Beta features
Certain export options (such as Word export) may be labeled Beta. Beta features may be less stable or produce lower-fidelity results than primary export formats.
4. File Handling and Security
We delete uploaded and converted files within 24 hours and offer immediate deletion on the results page. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Despite reasonable security measures (including HTTPS), no online transmission or storage system is completely secure. You upload files at your own risk. Avoid submitting highly sensitive or confidential information unless you accept that risk.
We do not manually review your file contents except where required by law.
5. User Content and Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Files you upload and how you use converted outputs
- Ensuring you have the right to process and distribute your content
- Complying with applicable copyright, privacy, and other laws
PubRescue does not monitor all uploaded content and is not responsible for user-provided materials.
6. Third-Party Links and Advertisements
Our website may contain links to third-party websites and advertisements served by partners including Google AdSense.
We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of third parties. Your interactions with advertisers and external sites are solely between you and those parties.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep PubRescue available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, outages, rate limits (including 100 MB per file and 20 conversions per IP per day), and technical failures may prevent conversions from completing.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUBRESCUE DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE, CONVERTED FILES, QUALITY-CHECK REPORTS, OR WEBSITE CONTENT — INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, AND INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS, OR PROFITS.
